Everything is going well for Anthony Edwards, who underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, according to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Although the Minneapolis team did not provide a timeline for his return, the 25-year-old guard is expected to return to the court in two months, according to recent reports.
Edwards last played on Monday, scoring 47 points in 41 minutes during the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 127-125 overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Without him, his team lost 119-114 to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night and fell to 3-2.
In four games this season, the “Wolves” superstar is averaging 33.3 points on 48.1% shooting, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
