Dortmund is set to face Bayern Munich in a major away derby (Nov. 31, 7:30 p.m.) for the 8th matchday of the Bundesliga, and Niko Kovac will wait until the last minute to see if Konstantinos Karetsas will be available.
The Greek attacking midfielder took part in part of Thursday’s practice (Oct. 29), and today (October 30) he will try to train at full intensity with the rest of the team, with Niko Kovac addressing Karetsas’s condition at the press conference ahead of the derby:

“As for Kostas, today (ed. note: yesterday) he participated in part of the training session with the team. The intensity wasn’t particularly high. Provided nothing negative comes up after today’s practice, the plan is for him to train normally with the rest of the team tomorrow. “We’ll then decide whether he’s ready to travel with us to Munich or not,” the Dortmund coach said.
