The vessel “Vivy Sabre,” which participated in the international Global Sumud Flotilla, remains anchored in the small port of Kato Paphos on Thursday morning, while the crew members await instructions for its departure.
The “Vivy Sabre,” which participated in the Global Sumud Flotilla with the aim of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, arrived at the small port of Paphos shortly after midnight on Monday. The crew had set sail from a port in Sicily, having previously traveled to Marmaris on the coast of Asia Minor.
According to information from CNA, three of the vessel’s crew members, who had participated in the mission to transport humanitarian aid to Gaza, have left.
Specifically, two of the three Italians on board returned to their home country by plane on Tuesday night, while the third traveled to Limassol.
The other three passengers—a Spaniard, a Moroccan, and a Mexican—remain on board at this time, awaiting instructions regarding the vessel’s departure.
Meanwhile, several party delegations visited the “Vivy Sabre,” delivering food and water to the vessel’s passengers and expressing their solidarity with the humanitarian mission and the Palestinian people.
