The mountains of Central Greece were blanketed in white on October 28.
Photos published by lamianow.gr capture a distinctly wintry scene with striking images from Fthiotida and neighboring prefectures.
The first snow fell on Mount Oiti, while both Mount Goulinas and Mount Kallidromo were blanketed in white.
Scenes that are more reminiscent of winter than late October have been captured in both Vardousia and Velouchi in Evrytania.
Snowfall was also reported in the mountain ranges of Boeotia, Phocis, and Euboea.
Mountain villages such as Neochori, Stagia (Platanos), Nea Giannitsou, Pyrgos Ypatis, and Kastania have already gotten their first strong taste of winter.
