The official announcement: “Anorthosis Famagusta announces that Lefteris Papachristou has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the soccer club.
Lefteris Papachristou holds a degree in Economics from Greece and has significant professional experience in the financial sector, having worked at prominent companies in Greece, focusing on financial management and oversight.
During his two-year tenure with Anorthosis, he gained substantial insight into the operations, procedures, and financial needs of the soccer club.
His assumption of these new duties is part of the Management’s broader plan to further strengthen and upgrade the organizational and administrative structure, with an emphasis on sound financial management, transparency, and the club’s efficient operation.
In his new role, Lefteris Papachristou will have overall responsibility for the finance department, with key responsibilities including financial planning and budgeting, monitoring and managing financial obligations, preparing and monitoring budgets, and strengthening financial control and transparency mechanisms.
