Nothing is going right for Manchester United; they suffered another painful defeat and are plunging their fans into despair!

Carrick’s team failed to rise to the occasion in their home match against Bournemouth, losing 3-0 and ending up with just one win in the first 8 matches of this year’s Premier League season, while sitting just one point above the relegation zone and having not celebrated a domestic victory since August 30.

Bournemouth opened the scoring in the 38th minute of the match played at “Old Trafford” with a goal by Rayyan, and managed to double their lead before the end of the first half, with Tavernier finding the back of the net in the 43rd minute! In the second half, the home team tried to score a goal to get back into the game, but it was the visitors who found the back of the net again in the 71st minute, with Evanilson scoring.

At Anfield, Liverpool halted Brighton’s momentum—which had been fueled by the key and irreplaceable Kostoulas—securing a 2-0 victory.

The scoring opened in the 17th minute, when a shot by Wirz (who was injured and substituted in the 65th minute) deflected off Gross and found the back of Verbruggen’s net, while just 4 minutes later, Barkola pressed high up the field and stole the ball, before delivering a perfect assist to Isak, who sealed the final 2-0 score! Thus, Liverpool celebrated their second consecutive victory and cut their deficit from the top to 6 points, while Brighton saw its four-game winning streak come to an end.

Highlights of Liverpool vs. Brighton

Hull, with starter Tzolakis in the lineup, took the lead on a well-taken penalty kick by McBurnie in the 24th minute of their home match against Brentford, but Watara equalized in the 63rd minute for a final score of 1-1, while Newcastle returned to winning ways after two consecutive losses to Coventry and Aston Villa, defeating Crystal Palace 2-0 in London. Osula opened the scoring in the 47th minute, while Barnes scored the winners’ second goal in the 58th minute.
