Sergio De Larea will play for the Mavericks next season. The Spanish international guard was the No. 25 pick in the NBA Draft, having been originally selected by the Lakers, but was traded to the Dallas team in exchange for the 30th pick, Koa Pitt.

The 20-year-old star from Valencia, who recently won this year’s Liga Endesa title with the “Bats,” was one of the Levantines’ most pivotal players in the games against Panathinaikos in the EuroLeague playoffs, averaging 8.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2 assists on average across the five games of the series.

Overall, in the season that just ended, De Larea averaged 4.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 31 appearances in Europe’s top club competition.
