The 27-year-old forward injured his ankle after a tackle and was forced to leave the game in the 77th minute, applying ice to his leg.
He was quick to reassure everyone that it wasn’t anything serious. “I took a hit to the ankle, but I’m fine,” emphasized the captain of the “Blues,” while the team’s medical staff has also made it clear that he will not miss Tuesday’s semifinal (10:00 p.m.) against Belgium or Spain (who will face off tonight at 10:00 p.m.).
