At emergency general meetings later tonight in all provinces, employees of the Ministry of Economic Affairs’ support programs will decide on their next steps, who this afternoon organized a march from the Ministry of Finance to the Presidential Palace, where they delivered a resolution.
The resolution was delivered to Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou, whom they asked to convey their request for a meeting with the President of the Republic. While awaiting a response, which may come as early as tomorrow, Friday, the workers are holding general assemblies to decide whether to suspend their indefinite strike.

During the protest, they emphasized once again that it is unacceptable to go unpaid for five months and criticized the government for not telling the truth when it claims that permanent employees are not entitled tounemployment benefits, that this issue was part of the negotiations, and that the unions were aware of it.
