Greece now has a… co-leader at the top of the group! In a very good match at the “Philips Stadion,” the Netherlands struggled against Serbia, saw them equalize with a goal by Cvicovic, followed by a goal from Koopmeiners, but with a goal by Zirkzee in the final stretch of the match, they prevailed 2-1 in Matchday 4 of League A of the Nations League and now sit alongside Greece in Group 2. PAOK’s Andrija Živković and AEK’s Luka Jović came off the bench, and Van Bommel once again delivered a brilliant assist for the Netherlands.
With this result, Serbia is officially in 4th place in the group, while Greece and the Netherlands will face off for first place on November 13 in the Netherlands!
